"Learning from the past to design for the present."
We create products grounded in timeless design by looking at the past while embracing the needs of the present and future. Through our emphasis on natural materials and tradition, we aim to create products that will last for years to come. Our designs focus on becoming an extension of the user, built with a clear purpose that seamlessly blends into life. By embracing this approach, living honestly and with intention becomes second nature.

By J.WU is a New York-based design studio that brings together the things we love most. Beautiful products to use in your home, clothing made to be worn, and unique antiques and objects to share and enjoy.

Our goal is to make things worth keeping, to empower objects, and bring design back to the people. The kind of objects you love, use, and maybe pass down someday. Everything we put out is something we think is worth caring about. We’re not a big team, just doing what we can to spread the love. Thanks for being here.

cloth
Our clothing is the result of approaching fashion through the lens of product design with a strong emphasis on textiles and form. We want to wear clothes that will look as good today as they will 50 years from now and still be able to perform at the highest level in our favorite activity: Life. We believe in wearing your clothes hard and having them work for you, not the other way around.
home
A collection of human centered objects. Designed to live with you, as an extension of yourself. With a strong belief in intention, each product is built within a rigorous framework. We look to the natural world through its organic shapes, colors, and materials to create a familiar user experience. We believe that coming home should be a joy and we hope our products serve yours for years to come.
craft
Craft was born out of the idea that modern design studios feel rigid and sterile. How can we add more color, texture, and playfulness to modern design? Through our selection of antiques and objects, we want to highlight the craftspeople and designers of the past who we see as one of our primary inspirations. We believe these often unnamed artists were also on a mission to bring more joy into this world and we want to share these stories with you.
